We have literally built upon our reputation for delicious food by adding our restaurant and function room in 2005. Built in the time-honoured oak-framed style, the restaurant offers seating for up to sixty, with a charming terrace for those warm, balmy summer evenings. Whether you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner for two, or a celebration party for that special occasion, we offer a fabulous setting with home-cooked dishes, freshly prepared to suit all tastes.

In the Half Moon Restaurant our aim is to keep it simple. We believe in the finest traditions of English cooking, using the most select and freshest ingredients. We offer traditional dishes such as Calves Liver and Bacon with Bubble and Squeak, delicious Old Fashioned Home-made Steak and Kidney Pudding, and a variety of seasonal Game dishes. Not forgetting our mouth watering, the good Old English Fish and Chips!

The atmosphere is informal, friendly and welcoming. Conrad, Helga and the team aim to give great service and are always willing to explain anything on the menu in detail.
