Landlord Warren and our fantastic team put the pub in the centre of the community with a beautiful Christmas celebration for the village. We believe in cosy, fireplace-warming, family-relaxing and colleague-enjoying Christmases.

Our Head Chef Bradley has curated our festive menus, providing a best of British, seasonal experience, with an array of delicious classics with a twist. Paired perfectly with our worldwide wine list, your festive celebration will be one to remember. Cosy up in a fire-warming corner of our country pub.

The Barn

Why not explore our beautiful Barn, perfect for your sit-down event, and to enjoy celebratory drinks into the evening. Roaring fireplace, divine interior and cosy feel, this room is perfect to enjoy with your guests. With French-doors that open up to our covered garden (heaters and blankets included for those chillier evenings), you’ll have plenty of space to ensure your guests can party the night away. The Cabin

This ample space is the perfect location for your large guest-list festive party. This space seats a larger party with large tables, two levels and plenty of space between to mingle and celebrate. Covered and heated, this space has a romantic atmosphere and is spot-on to get the bubbles flowing for you and your party. Dive into sharers galore, perfect for dipping in and out as you dance the night away. We have just had a meal for 16 people at the Half Moon as a post-Christmas celebration and a birthday celebration for an elderly member of the family. We had the most amazing service from a member of staff called Matilda who made the whole afternoon wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and she worked hard with our big group all afternoon with a big smile on her face. The company are lucky to have committed staff like this. We were seated in the wooden extension at the back, which was initially cold but Matilda quickly warmed it up with heaters and provided us with blankets and regularly checked we were ok. The food was good. We had a lovely family afternoon. Thank you to everyone at the Half Moon especially Matilda.

Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day at the Half Moon Windlesham! A lovely warm experience , sitting by an open wood burner with the smell of the festive season all around. Service was just right with each course coming in good time without feeling rushed at anytime. The day was well thought out by the management and it seemed everyone all around was happy! The food was plentiful without being too much, I had the traditional Christmas Fayre while my wife had fish and it was cooked to perfection. Christmas pudding was big and full of yumminess. Great day had and made by the whole HalfMoon team.
